Non-surgical Rhinoplasty, also known as Nonsurgical Nose Job is a transformative cosmetic procedure, which is giving classical results and is now being preferred over its surgical counterpart to hide minor flaws of the nose. It can correct only minor flaws like a bump over nose dorsum and any subtlemodification of nasal tip.
Since it is a safe and efficient procedure, it is alsobeing advised by Dr Amit Agarwal to improve the facial profile for men and women who do not want surgery for their nose or have to ready for a soon to be an event in their life. Being an out-patient procedure, it is way more convenient for the people who choose it.
Until a few years back this procedure wasn't known but now with the help of fillers like the ones we use for lip augmentation or with the help of fat grafting, we can get rid of all the incorrect curves, bumps & lumps present on the nose making the nose way much better and the giving an improved facial profile.
Procedure
- Filler is a gel-like injectable material inserted underneath the skin. It is material similar to hyaluronic acid, which is naturally found in our body. Most cosmetic fillers are temporary. The injections last anywhere from three months to six months.
- Fat grafting last longer and may be permanent also. It requires liposuction to extract fat from patient's own body like abdomen, love handles or thigh with very small miniature incision under local anaesthesia. The fat is then processed, purified and cleansed before being injected in the area of the nose which needs correction. Little overcorrection is always done if fat grafting is done to account for absorption of fat by the body.

Recovery Phase
During that time, make sure to get plenty of rest, maintain head end elevation and avoid straining yourself physically or emotionally.
There could be negligible swelling & bruising or negligible chances of allergic reactions after non-surgical rhinoplasty.
There will be some specific instructions given to you by Dr Amit Agarwal which includes:
- How to take care of the surgical site.
- About the follow up dates.
- How to take the medications or application of creams which can help in faster healing and recovery. There are not many medications though.
Complications
Complications such as swelling, hypersensitivity reactions to filler, redness, and bruising can occur which usually subsides with time.
Rare chance of infection and granuloma formation.
Rare adverse side effect of Non-surgical rhinoplasty with fillers has been postulated as -Fillermigrating to artery of the nose leading to arterial occlusion or embolization, and blindness.
Nonsurgical rhinoplasty can pose for high risk, given the vasculature of the nose, which is why education on this type of injectable is important and is not suitable for everyone.
